EPW - Rolex, Swiss, Prince Imperial with distinctive hexagonal case, 41mm height x 37mm width at widest point, 18K white gold OF original Rolex case with bail at upper-right, silvered dial with upper display for hours/minutes and lower display for seconds, SW-SS, lever escapement, 17J, wheel satin nickel finish, s#1000882. Gross weight of assembled watch 25.4 dwt (39.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking erratically, often with a rapid beat and very short balance amplitude but at times with a more normal sounding beat and amplitude, overhaul needed for this issue, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, some areas of finish loss, some scattered small abrasions and fine to micro-fine scratches; dial with scattered fine scratches and surface spotting with the most notable surface spot being just left of center of the hour/minute dial; excellent hands; case shows little wear, no dents, rear with some rippling of surface reflection suggesting a past polishing to remove an inscription and then imparting of brushed finish after polishing; crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
